The aim of the project is . supercomputer modeling and visualization of motion of rigid ellipsoidal particles in viscous fluid. The work is based on a hydrodynamical model that has been published by Jeffery, and to which many of papers in scientific journals were devoted later. Analytical solutions of the equations of Jeffery were found for some special cases only. Numerical solution of the equations of Jeffery that enable modeling of evolution of multiparticle systems and flow around rotating particles is time-consuming. From the point of applications of the model of Jeffery, a suitable temporal visualization of patterns and structures appearing in the course of modeling is very important. The project involves a presentation of results of modeling in the form of multimedia programs with a hypertext guide.
