Abstract: High-resolution aerial images are commonly available. Within this topic, several theses are possible dealing with the automatic analysis of these images. One possibility is, for example, the analysis of the road network with an emphasis on practical applications for city management. Another is a more general super-resolution task to explore the possibilities of achieving sub-pixel accuracy for detecting, recognizing and determining the exact location of objects.
