With the help of artificial intelligence, fake photographs are circulating on the Internet that deliberately evoke strong emotions in people. "Adolescents or young children are more successful in recognizing fake images because they are on the Internet and see what artificially generated photos look like," points out Barbara Zitova of the Academy of Sciences' Institute for Information Theory and Automation.
